Preston Roadhouse

Had dinner on Saturday and was extremely surprised. Our server, Luke, was excellent. He was proficient and friendly. The food was delicious and was beautifully presented. Hats off to the chef. I had trout with butterfly shrimp and mashed potatoes. My friend had the salmon. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough. You won't be disappointed.

A wonderful lunch at the Preston Roadhouse with the Retired Ladies from the Caroline County Health Department! Who woulda thought that the little Burg of Preston would have a restaurant that has great food, awesome presentation, super portions, and a great wait staff! Hats off to the Chef and Owners!

First time here for lunch, it's a fairly limited menu, but that's ok, everyone in my party were very happy with their meals. The burger I ordered was cooked as I ordered it and very taste. The kids spaghetti was a large portion, and my son loved it. Everything seems to be made with good ingredients. I plan to check out dinner next time.

We went for dinner. My wife had the fish and chips while I opted for the spaghetti and meatballs. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting a great Italian dish from Little Italy but what a surprise! The pasta was actually linguine with a rich, flavorful and not overly sweet homemade sauce, not to thick and not too thin. As Goldilocks says, just right. The coup de gras however were the meatballs. What flavor! Be sure to slice them so as to maximize the experience. Whether ingested alone or in combination with the pasta and sauce, you will not be disappointed. As to the fish and chips, my wife was quite satisfied and ate more than she normally does. Our server Luke was perfect. My only problem was that I could not hear anything that he said. Preston Road House is a delightful surprise—a small-town restaurant with big-city talent. While there are the tiniest of quirks, the overall experience is one of comfort, quality, and thoughtful service. It’s a place that invites you to stay awhile, enjoy the modern amenities, and savor the well-prepared dishes that showcase the best of both tradition and innovation. I give such praise to the chefs in the back, and more so to the management or ownership that has incredible skill and put deep thought into the entire experience. For a place to be opened for such a short amount of time but operate so efficiently, you would think it has been operating for a decade.
