I was craving chicken soup so I decided to check DoorDash. To my surprise, I found a local restaurant that makes homemade matzo ball soup! I ordered the sandwiches an extra matzo, and let me tell you—if you know, you know. I was pleasantly surprised! The presentation was excellent, and everything hit the spot. Thank you, Prescription Chicken! I’ll definitely be ordering again.
I don’t live locally but discovered PC several years ago, and now order soup to take home every time in DC. My friend and I placed a larger order to go, after confirming with the store that they could accommodate. There was a problem with delivery and the store canceled our order, and it was hard to find a solution. I sent an email over, just to share why had happened. We got an email back within just a few minutes, and the owners worked so hard to make everything right. We were offered a full refund in addition to being able to pick up our soup order (which we didn’t take— it’s hard enough for small businesses!). The quality of the food is consistently good – every soup is amazing and we love the challah. But this time I was just also super impressed with their customer service. Thank you
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve ordered Prescription Chicken! It used to be just when I was sick, but now it’s anytime I’m run down or just want a cozy rainy day meal. I feel better as soon as I open the bag. The gluten free matzo balls and noodles are a rarified treat. And they reheat well to boot!
Not much care goes into the soups. The carrots were basically left whole (poorly chopped) so it was still hard and I could barely bite into it. The soup is close to water. The packaging is cute though
My neighbor sent "the sickie" combo to me last night when she found out I was home sick. I have to say this is by far the best chicken soup I have ever tasted in my life. I had to reheat it on the stove for a few minutes because I like my soup super hot (and of course it's going to cool down during the delivery process). The huge pieces of chicken were tender and wonderful. the matzo balls were great, the carrots were perfectly cooked and not soggy at all. The sickie package also came with a chamomile tea bag and several other goodies. I had no appetite all day from being sick but started to feel better within an hour of eating. almost a quart of this amazing soup. I am going to send this same package to any friend who I know is home sick in the future. I told my neighbor that I have nev
