Prairie House Tavern

I moved back in with my family, maybe a whole 2 minutes away from Prairie House Tavern, and I feel so lucky to be so close to such a lovely spot :) Jaime was such a good server. Seriously. She treated me and my dog, Storm, so well from before we even arrived. I called ahead to ask if the patio was open and dog-friendly, and she gave me detailed instructions on the best way to walk in with her. Jaime provided a water bowl for the pup right off the bat and was so friendly towards me and my anxious dog! Impeccable service, a pretty and cozy patio despite it being 20 degrees outside, and great food. Thank you to all the staff!! (I also absolutely adore the Tuesday night karaoke here. They've got a great KJ hosting weekly :))

What a hidden gem! I love the different seating options - cozy in the bar, bright and open in the four seasons room, and also a beautiful beer garden with couches and a fire pit. Lovely and clean atmosphere. Great for families or date night. The new owner has cleaned up the place and added a bunch of really nice landscaping. Love it! Food is impressive and fresh. Will be coming back very soon!

The Bartender on Tuesday was very rude. Will not be back. Some great places around here and I heard the food was good. She could not have been more annoyed with just bringing drinks.

We absolutely loved this tavern!! The atmosphere was great, service was amazing and the food was wonderful!

Excellent location across from the train station. We sat on the deck off the bar. There is also a patio on the ground. Huge fans provided a breeze. The drinks were well mixed. Fresh cut fries, Excellent bbq and a great sliced beef sandwich. Price is reasonable and quantity is filling.
