TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. The lady had a very bad attitude. It was honestly a disgusting attitude. The food was not very good. Only the bacon egg and cheese croissant, which was Just egg and tempeh bacon was okay. Everything else lacked flavor. The chicken bacon ranch wrap literally had like 2 skinny pieces of chicken strips and was mostly lettuce and onion. I'm not sure why the food took 45 minutes to make either. I would honestly never come back and would tell my coworkers and friends and family to never come to this place because the lady was just extremely rude. Once we came in we were greeted by the nastiest attitude I've ever experienced ever in a restaurant. Not even Dunkin donuts or a burger king would treat you like this. Or even dollar tree. It was terrible. It ruined m
Amazing vegan kitchen located on Newark Ave, heading downtown! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the BBQ Jerk Chickn with potato salad and fresh greens! The flavors and the textures were just all amazing! They have a large menu of many different items, from lunch to dinner and even desserts. There is not much space to dine in. I was lucky that there were two tables available, so I enjoyed my food inside. The parking nay also be difficult to find, however there is local street parking. The owner was also a charm and very pleasant. I highly recommend this place for vegans or if you just want to try something new.
I was this many days old when I found out I could enjoy sweet potatoes. Not that I didn’t want to like sweet potatoes, I know a lot of people like them, I know they are healthy, I like to be healthy, but they just haven’t ever been for me… until today. Not only did I turn the corner on these sweet Ps, I also realized I could be content with a meal that did not have meat. I have now lived right next door to Power Plant Kitchen for over a year but being that they don’t serve meat in their meals I had never been a patron. Then, today, having returned home from a weekend away, having no meat defrosted, famished from a nonstop work from home day, and in a state of need, I crawled next door for sustenance. Whatever they are doing at this place, I’m into it. I’m not even sure what the exact meal
My friend and I opted for pickup from Plant Power Kitchen and decided to dine in. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed by the cozy yet modern decor and vibrant green accents, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to sustainability. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a great dining experience. Now, onto the food! Plant Power Kitchen's menu offers a delightful array of plant-based options suitable for vegans and those curious about meat-free dishes. We savored the Philly cheesesteak, honey mustard wrap, berry grind drinks, and cookies – all fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It's truly a culinary haven for plant-based enthusiasts, with a welcoming ambiance, innovative menu, and eco-friendly ethos, making every bite a guilt-free pleasure for you and the planet.
I first want to say that it is great to have a vegan spot especially so close from my home that offers such a variety of dishes and some sweets as well. I have tried a couple of your dishes so far but I did feel that the food as it did have flavor and spice, for me the it was too salty and made it hard to eat a lot it. It could have been the dishes I tried so I hope to see if next time that will not be the case.
