Posto Italian

I recently dined at Posto and the food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The presentation was great and everything came out tasting fresh and authentic. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the level of the food. It felt a bit inattentive at times and not as polished as you’d expect given how good the menu is. Overall, I’d still return for the food alone — it was that good — and I’m hoping the service improves on our next visit.

Visiting family in the area, we always struggle to find a decent place for dinner. Well we shall struggle no more since we found Posto! We really enjoyed our cocktails and meal here at this casual, modern and fresh Italian spot by the Federal folks . Everything was well prepared, well seasoned but not overly salty and very fresh. The room was very open with high ceilings and very clean. Attentive staff and management. Cacio e Pepe fries were a hit, even with my husband who normally hates fries! (though needed more pepper for the one pepper freak at the table-me!). The kitchen very kindly split two entrees for us without us asking (or charging for it, which was lovely!) The ambiance was good and the food delicious. I had the hanger steak and sides and the sorbet for dessert. However, my seating was awkward. I was across from my friend, who was seated at the end of a cushioned bank. Our table was flush up against a cabinet or station of sorts. It made it difficult to get comfortable and I felt in the way. Had the table been moved slightly away from there, it would have been better. That being said, we had a good time and the food was great.

We went for my birthday. This was the first time I’ve been there and it was great! All the food was delicious and great service. My friends sang to me and the entire restaurant in the bar area clapped for me. It made my night ❤️

Not pictured the risotto balls with the garlic mash were insane. Everything was awesome, it’s pricey because it’s WORTH it. I would go back for this chicken parm every day if I could. Just go and eat all of it!
