OH MY GOODNESS!! this place is now my absolute favorite restaurant I have gone to, everything about this place absolute perfection:))) everything from ABBA being played, the lighting and vibes were top notch!! Our waiter VANCE was the best ( I want to become best friends with him) he made our experience there unbelievably good:) he was so interactive, kind, observant and knew a lot about the menu and was literally the best waiter I have ever had! not to mention the food oh my word, I tried their lasagna and it was delicious and very well displayed, me and my roommate's also tried the Italian's sodas, it was so fun to mix the drink and they were yummy! lastly I tried the cannoli cheesecake and holy guacamole that was so unbelievably creamy and the cannoli was perfectly crunchy and the filli
This Celiac LOVES Positano! I’ve gone closer to when they open and always get in right away, and service is pretty quick too. I order the Alfredo with grilled shrimp and it is sooooo good 🤤 and I love that my waitress clarified and asked if it was celiac and I said yes, and she confirmed 0 cross contamination. Someone was saying that they use the same pasta water for the gluten free pasta, as the regular pasta. But I called them after my visit, and they confirmed again that that is not true, and they use fresh and clean everything for gluten free orders. And I’ve been back since then and have never been sick. I do think they’re a little pricey, but everything is these days. I also wish the portions were a tad bigger because it’s also amazing as leftovers! And the one thing I beg them to ad
Plus was a short 20-minute wait. Not bad for a Friday night. We got the seat closest to the front door. Frankly it is too close. Very chilly. Our server got to us a bit slowly. Said hi, then left to get water. We had been there long enough to be ready to order. Made it back with water and said he would give us more time. Nope. We ordered. The herb and garlic sauce for the bread was considered mediocre. It would work as a salad dressing. The pesto butter was much better. The arugula salad was well received and delicious. The prosciutto pizza was too salty and was bathing in too much oil. The chicken was okay. The pasta was undercooked. Server insisted it was al dente. It was crunchy. We get firm to the teeth, but not crunchy. They did remake it. Will not go back. Not ou
Great atmosphere and service. Been here twice with family and partner, same standard both times. Drinks - nice beer and cocktail selection in addition to wines. But the hidden gem are the Italian sodas. Partner and I had one of the best Italian sodas we’ve ever had here (the blackberry one, specifically). Each time I’ve gotten the roasted goat cheese appetizer, absolutely delicious. The garlic butter for the bread, and the rosemary focaccia bread, also delicious. And the fettuccine Alfredo (which my partner said might have been the best they’ve ever had) and positano pastas are likewise amazing. Tried the decadent chocolate cake on my first visit for dessert and the positano margarita, both very good. The cake was rich and moist, and on the margaritas, well, finally a place that doesn’t sk
We are repeat customers to Positano and we've never been let down! The ambiance is stunning and is like nothing else in St. George. The decor is beautiful and the staff is always friendly. And, the food? It is delicious! We've tried the Lemon Ravioli (comes with the most amazing shrimp), lasagna, pizza, Positano pasta dish, Tuscan Chicken, Ribeye, multiple appetizers and desserts, and signature drinks from the bar. The pasta is always cooked to a perfect al dente, and the bread is incredible. Try the bruschetta! It is the most pillowy and flavorful one we've ever had. Everything is fresh and flavorful. While we always have great service, last night our server Vance went above and beyond and provided us with a most enjoyable experience. Thoughtful and attentive and so personable. I highly r
