Really hate to leave a 1 star review because our family has always loved this place. However, the last time we ordered takeout I found a dead stink bug in my side garden salad. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the bug until I had already eaten about a third of the salad. I’ve never been so disgusted and disappointed with an order. We’ll be taking a break from eating here. Hopefully, they’ll do better in the future.

Food is always good. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The atmosphere is next level. Never disappointed. Highly recommend.

The food is very good. They offer choices you just don't see in other places. I love the Italian beef & Italian sausage combo with hot peppers. Add the cheese fries and chocolate shake. It's hard to beat in my opinion. They need to get one in the south metro.

I was visiting with family and never heard of Portillos. The menu was easy to read and showed burgers, hot dogs, and desert. At 1st thought I was like what could this place offer me that another couldn't? Answer: Everything! Price right for the food quality! A sit down type fast food leaning towards restaurant. Example: Fazollis. (Without a drive-thru!) The Burger was amazing!!!!! I never eat my left overs but I did with this burger. My sister got a cake that was awesome, but she had a strawberry shortcake as well, and when I put that in my mouth I was in Shortcake heaven. I mean I rarely ever close my eyes murmuring and enjoying every second of flavor. I would recommend this place to everyone hands down!!!!!

My husband and I always come here for a bite. Everything is always amazing and delicious. July 22nd at 3:42pm. We received our order. And to my surprised the chicken was quite the kid side for a chicken burger (see picture). I ordered the usual Char-Broiled Chicken Sandwich. Usually, the meat is not that small. And if we're paying $33 for these meals, the food should also be as big as how much we're paying for it. I also compared it to the small fries. I was eating more bread than meat.
