Portillo's Streamwood

Our local Portillo's diner serves up the best char-grilled burgers, hog dogs (both beef and plant based options), fries and onion rings. Welcoming us in, Dulce placed our order to the kitchen team. Manager, Kaitlyn was helpful to ensure our Perks account was attached for points with correct phone number. Sophia, was friendly, gathering all the correct items of our order so we made it back to the event with everyone's meal. The Italian beef with sweet peppers or combo adding a sausage sandwich is classic as is the chocolate cake slice or shake! We love the plant-based garden dog with all the Chicago-style toppings. I have to admit, although I am a vegetarian, I was very pleasantly surprised that Portillo’s have vegan hot dogs, so this is something everyone should know! They were so good, alongside their chocolate cake, and even the decor inside is beautiful and interesting since it has a lot of memorabilia from the past. Definitely would recommend, especially for anyone who loves hot dogs!

It’s one of the fast food places that I don’t mind eating. On my list is the Italian beef, cheese burger and the chopped salad. But Portillo’s stand a little bit more with its interior. This place impressed me with the vinaigrette style posters and decor following by the ex president images. It creates a place where you can enjoy food and be surrounded by history.

I just spend $102 for 6 italina beef sandwiches and received garabaged . My order was totally wrong I was very specific 5 sandwiches with hot papers on the side and gravy on the side as well I was charged extra $2 for side of each one of them . When I called restaurant guy name Ariel or whatever was his name was very unhelpful and mean offered me $6 off are you kidding me . What happened to customer service. I told them I do not want their food but I was left wirh $6 if I want to . I will most definitely call my bank.

Had lunch here due to all the hype of the Chicago way, it didn’t hit as intended, price was fair for lunch. I’m from the south so maybe my taste buds are different.
