Portillo's Oswego

Food was great. It was incredibly busy on Valentine's Day. The nice lady running the register was super kind even as insanely busy as it was. She was easily the nicest, friendliest Portillo's employee I've ever encountered. My food came out quick. Easily one of the best Portillo's trips I've made.

I listened to people talk this place up like it's the best restaurant in the area. The menu is a little more than hot dogs and hamburgers. In my opinion it is WAY TOO $$$ for the type of food they offer. I also hear how good the chocolate cake is. I tried it...very dry. I've tried it a couple of times because maybe I visited on a bad night and I'm all for second chances. Nope!!! Not darkening that door way again but that doesn't matter because they have lines like chick fil a lol.

Shaboingboing. Ahh where do i start, The hotdogs here are delicious and trust me ive had a bunch of wieners. The Franks are absolutely emasculate.This one worker there (Hectorsaurus) makes them so tender and juicy. Everyone needs a wiener from here. Please try the shaboingboings.

Terrible fries and beef sandwich had only cheese. Later asked for dressing that was omitted.Very noisy.Chopped salad was ok but too sweet. Contact us form did not work - just wasted my time .

I recently stopped by Portillo's for dinner after having spinal surgery, which meant I had to Uber there. Before my visit, I called ahead to confirm that they received my order, and I was pleasantly surprised by how polite and accommodating the staff was. I ordered the fries, a fish sandwich, and some eclairs. Everything was made to order and incredibly fresh. The staff was not only friendly but made my pickup experience super fast, easy, and hassle-free. I'm grateful for their excellent service and delicious food. I highly recommend this location!
