Food Ratings: (keeping prices in mind) - Focaccia: 7/10 The bread was soft and crispy at the same time. I liked the pairing with the olive oil and cheese. - Crudo Di Capesante: 6/10 Tastes fresh, the scallops were good. Nothing out of this world tasty. - Risotto: 3/10 This was my first time eating risotto and it was not a good one. I don’t know if risotto is supposed to be extremely salty but this one was so salty. If there was any other flavor it was overpowered by the salt. Very disappointing. - Anatra: 5/10 I like meat and usually have no complaints but this dish was $42 if i recall correctly…for this price I’d expect the meat to melt in my mouth but it was chewy. I haven’t had duck in a while so not sure if duck is supposed to be chewy. Very average dish. - Lumache: 4/10 I love pasta,
Each time I visit, they never disappoint. The food is great, especially the ravioli, which is my favorite so far. The sauce on the filet mignon was a bit too salty, but still tasty. And the service, especially from our server Jeffery, was amazing. His excellent service definitely elevated our experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Bustling downtown NYC restaurant. It was hopping on an ice cold Saturday night. Beautiful inside with very nice if not a little strained staff. I mean management stop making the waiters also bus their tables. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and well made. I highly recommend you try this restaurant
Visited a few weeks ago for a work dinner with colleagues after hearing them rave about the food, and I’m glad to say it lived up to the hype. Since we had a large group, we ordered a wide variety of dishes to share, which gave us a great taste of the menu—and honestly, everything was a hit, even the desserts. Our server went above and beyond with excellent wine recommendations and pairings that really elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality meal in the city.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I came here back to back for dinner last week. Both times I ordered the Branzino, it’s the best I’ve ever had. A meal here makes you want to kiss the chef.
