Portage District Library

Very well lit bright and cheery space. The little siting area near the entrance with coffee and vending machines was quite a nice place to relax. Meeting rooms are great feature too. Librarians are very helpful and friendly 😊

We love coming to the Portage Library! We enjoy using the app to put books on hold to pick up, and we also just got some fun books that were on sale for very reasonable prices! At Christmas time they also put up fun decorations outside!

This is the best library I have been to. Growing up I spent much of my elementary school years at the library but mostly to use the WiFi, as it was one of the few places that had WiFi at the time. But the library experience that I am used is books (of course), DVDs, cassette tape audiobooks, and reservable computers. Signing up for an account was simple and I had the help of the staff onsite for any questions. I would like to highlight a few of my favorite features of this library: -they have a Makerspace with 3D printers, laser engraver, Cricut machine, a mini-cnc mill, and more. You can schedule time online to use these (as soon as same day)some requiring staff supervision. -there is an app that allows you to browse for books, etc and view your checked out items. -this library is a mem

I definetly needed to go. very calming and peaceful. Going to libraries makes me want to read or buy every book. This library has seeds avaliable as well, you just write which seeds you got, up to 10 and the date so they can keep a record, very comfortable cool and modern place to hang out.

The renovations are fantastic. This library is very friendly and inviting. We checked out some books for the first time and the staff is so nice and helpful. The new space is so awesome, very kid friendly and clean. So blessed to have this gem in our community
