Port Sa'id Seafood Restaurant

Came here for the first time to try their fresh seafood. It’s more of a self-service setup — you choose the type of seafood and how you want it cooked, which is pretty fun and straightforward. I ordered calamari and grilled shrimp to go. The calamari was crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. It was served hot and definitely best enjoyed right away. The grilled shrimp were slightly overcooked, but still flavorful and enjoyable, especially paired with the warm bread. Overall, a solid spot for casual, no-frills seafood when you’re in the neighborhood or just for casual lunch/dinner.

My first and lasting impression was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived until the very end, Adam checked on us consistently and made sure everything was perfect. Even though it wasn’t busy when my friend and I came, the staff was very attentive, asking how everything was and bringing our food out quickly. We ordered the linguine alfredo, and the portion was incredibly generous — enough for two people to split comfortably, and I still ended up taking some home. The hummus isn’t pictured, but you honestly can’t go wrong with it. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor. We chose fried squid and grilled shrimp, and from the very first bite to the last, everything tasted amazing. Took my family here for a special occasion and we all loved it. My mother is an extremely picky eater but this place hit every mark for her! Employee explained how to order and explained the options for cooking. I honestly can’t believe how fresh everything was. Not one thing was overly salted every dish just has amazing deep flavors. I really thought we were going to end up spending an arm and a leg but it was so reasonably priced! This restaurant is a beautiful addition to the neighborhood and I wish them nothing but the most success!! We will absolutely be back!

Everything about our experience was perfect and tasty! The quality of the food really stood out..the fish was clearly fresh and cooked absolutely perfectly. ​The fried fish, shrimp, and calamari were highlights; they were fried exactly as they should be: light, crispy, and not greasy. ​On top of the amazing food, the staff was super friendly and quick. We didn't wait long for anything, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

All seafood options were very fresh and cooked well. Having had Egyptian seafood before this is definitely up to par. I think value wise this is not the best as the Restaurants in Astoria provide a similar quality for a cheaper price. If you are in the neighborhood though this is a good option.
