If you haven't been to Port And Park yet, You need to! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. I have dined on the lovely outdoor patio and ordered take-out multiple times, the food is CONSISTENTLY INCREDIBLE! When I've been there with friends, they order the French Toast and the Chicken sandwhich, they loved their meals, I always get the steak and eggs, I've never been disappointed!! The portions are very generous, the eggs are fluffy, the potatoes, onions and peppers are so flavorful and the steak...Oh Lord IT IS GOOD!! It is always cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of seasoning and the side of Chimichurri is fantastic! I've been wanting to try the Beignets and today I got the chance. The owner Steve, took
Port and Park Restaurant knows exactly what it’s doing. The shakshuka landed hot, comforting, and full of flavor. Deep, tomato-rich, soulful. One more egg and a touch more heat would’ve pushed it from great to unforgettable, but even as-is, it held its own and then some. The shrimp and grits were the quiet flex. The grits were rich, cheesy, and distinct without being heavy. You could taste intention in every bite. The shrimp were large, properly seasoned, and cooked like someone in the kitchen actually respects seafood. This is the kind of place that doesn’t chase trends. It executes. Thoughtfully. Confidently. With just enough room left for you to come back and say, “Run it again.”
This spot is a great neighborhood place for both food and drinks. The menu has a good mix of comfort dishes and shareable plates, and everything comes out flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere is laid-back but still lively enough to feel fun, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It’s a solid choice for a casual dinner or a night out with friends.
We visited during Restaurant Week and had a mixed experience overall. The Chicago skillet was very satisfying — a hearty dish with smoked ham, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, onions, spinach, poblano, potatoes, peppers, and melted cheese, topped with two over-easy eggs. It was flavorful and definitely the highlight of our meal. The cheeseburger was just okay — not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. The Bloody Mary was very watered down and disappointing, though the mimosa was excellent. For dessert, the menu listed a ricotta pancake, but what we received was more like deep-fried dough with a ricotta filling, which was not what we expected and wasn’t particularly enjoyable. Service was good and attentive, but the noise level in the restaurant was extremely high and made the dining experi
Amazing brunch space with a full service bar and an amazing bartender to boot! The espresso martinis are crisp and delicious. I almost never finish an entire dish at a restaurant but the biscuits and gravy had me in a chokehold and I left all but a crumb behind. This is a place not to miss!
