Porky Butts BBQ

This is a place worth stopping at! Especially if your a BBQ lover. Their pull pork was the best I tasted. All their meat melts in your mouth not chewy or stringy as some meats are. The environment is family friendly with country playing softly in the backround. Several TV’s. I wasn’t a fan of their sides we had cornbread, mash potatoes and gravy, and bbq beans. We got the family dinner for 2/3 and had plenty left over. Will I come back? YES! Bathroom was ok

I didn’t expect barbecue to be that good in Omaha. But I am quite pleased. I did the brisket and burnt ends. I would give the burnt ends a five out of five, and then I would give the brisket a four out of five. However, I would still order both of them again. I did the corn and mac & cheese. Those are both delicious. Overall, I would recommend this and would go back again in a heartbeat.

The Family Platter is a great way to enjoy the variety of food at Porky Butts BBQ. It consists of a Half Rack of Ribs, choice of 2 meats, choice of 2 sides, cornbread, and some fixings. We chose Burnt Ends and Brisquet for meat with Green Beans and Chili for sides. Loved, loved all the meats! Tender and tasty! Rib meat was ready to fall off the bone! I was a bit disappointed with the Chili; however, that was likely because I made a homemade batch last week and added all the right spices. Porky Butts' chili lacked some flavor in comparison. Meanwhile, the cornbread was great. We tried the Sassy and Mild sauces and liked both. I would prefer to give 4.5 stars if I could, with only the chili falling short of awesome.

Amazing!!! The food, the service, the price - all of it. This is the best barbecue I've had. Better than Kansas City, St Louis and Texas. We had the family platter with pulled pork, smoked sausage, 1/2 rack of ribs, slaw, street corn and cornbread - all for $35. I can't describe how delicious it all tasted. Wish we lived here! A definite must-stop if in Omaha. They were packed the entire time we were there.

Dined in this Saturday (11-25-25) got the platter that can feed 2 people easy. I had Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage for the meats. Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad w/ Cornbread for sides. Great flavor on everything and fast, friendly service. Blane& Staff you always rock!
