Poppa's Place Tres

Good regular food. Priced accordingly. Chips were perfect. Burger fresh and tasty. Got a tiny bowl of Cole slaw which is the size of a small butter dish see pic, for 1.99? Was good overall. Would visit again....And free refills

A delightful little restaurant! As the sign says, they serve comfort food. Although they had signs up for barbecue, we all ended up getting breakfast. And it was delicious! I got a vegetable skillet with eggs and sausage gravy. They have about a billion choices of bread, including sourdough and cinnamon raisin or biscuits. My son got the kids pancakes with bacon. They had the brilliant idea to laminate the kids menu, so not only does it reduce waste and save trees, the kids can erase it all and do it over again. There is a handicap accessible entrance ramp, but you will have to go down a few doors in the strip mall to use it. Plenty of free parking too. The service was friendly and they checked on us often. It took awhile to get our food, but we came in with the church crowd on Sunday and

Food was ok took over an hour and a half though. Horrible management. We watched multiple people walk out. Very sad this used to be a great place. Food is ok but needs someone to manage it. Especially since it is the only place around in a small town should be booming.

Waitresses acted so rushed, made us feel as if we were bothering them; 1 of 3 orders was wrong, & not fixed quickly. Very busy, few seats available, they complained to us about their work. Customers looked like their Regulars, & when tables cleared they were not wiped down between next Patrons.

My wife and I love Poppa's Place for breakfast. We have not tried their lunch/dinner menu, but the breakfast is great. I get the biscuits and gravy with egg on top and side of bacon and everything is cooked perfectly how I like it. My wife gets an omelet that she likes with hash browns and toast. It is a fantastic value as we get all of this for under $20. I highly recommend Poppa's Place! We will be back soon to try lunch and dinner.
