Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I must say, I have given this place plenty of tries and 98% of the time it’s a FAIL!! Last night on the way home from work I was famished. I stopped at Popeyes on Diamond Hill Rd in Woonsocket and ordered a two piece combo (I specifically asked for two wings) and the shrimp tackle box. I would have one for tonight and the other for lunch tomorrow. There was a bit of a wait even though no one was there. I was hopeful that that meant the food would be fresh. However, when I got home it was nothing but a horrid mess of old, completely dried out food. It looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp since they opened. Nothing was fresh! They gave me a breast and two dried up blocks that turned out to be the wings. The fries I ordered with it, dried out to the point I couldn’t bite them.

I was in the mood for a pie and my friend told me to go to Popeyes. I ordered five pies and when I got home, I looked at the pies and one of them had a white film and black spots on it. I called the phone number and the phone rang and rang and rang and I went online and they agreed to refund the cost of the two pies. I just wanted to call and let them know to check the remaining pies that they had before anyone else gets it and get sick, but I was unable to do that.

I love Popeyes but this location is a disgrace to the logo. The customer service is horrible most of the time with all the staff. I asked for a fresh spicy chicken sandwich being that the last visit, I did not receive fresh food. The lady at the window says “our food is always fresh” with an attitude like she was annoyed A PAYING CUSTOMER ASKED FOR FRESH FOOD. The manager finished my order but he seemed upset I asked for fresh food as well. I was given a greasy chicken sandwich that seems like they just dropped in the fryer for 2 seconds just to say it’s “fresh” when it’s not you just re-dropped old chicken with so much oil and the sandwich isn’t even hot. Absolutely terrible experience. I went to this Popeyes and clearly ordered 3 wraps with only chicken, cheese, and lettuce. I wasn’t given a receipt, and when I checked my food, it was completely wrong. I went back and spoke directly to the manager, who claimed to fix it, but when I got home (a 20-minute drive), the order was still wrong. When I returned again, the manager accused me of lying and refused to remake the food since I didn’t have a receipt they never gave me. When I called afterward, the staff were rude, swore at me, and called me names. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable behavior. they didnt give us the right order at all for 50 dollars, we ordered the hot ones bundle and all they gave us were two sandwiches which were different from what was in the bundle because we wanted to get a separate sandwich for someone else, the spicy chicken strips, and they asked for a side?? they gave us fries and two drinks??! the person taking our order couldnt even speak proper English nonetheless understand it (clearly..) and we asked for a cheesecake that they never gave us, plus we didnt get the receipt so we dont even know what we were paying for. we are never coming back here, plus the food was cold, bland, and tasted like a salt bath of spice. it was never like this here even when the ppl also spoke broken english....? and without the receipt we cant do anything about it, wth
