Absolutely horrible customer service. The staff acted irritated and inconvenienced the entire time, as if taking my order was a burden. When I asked for condiments and the biscuits that were missing from my order, I was met with attitude, dirty looks, and zero effort to fix the mistake. To make matters worse, I was told they were “out of food,” even though I could clearly see items still available behind the counter. The dishonesty and lack of professionalism were shocking. The overall atmosphere felt hostile and unwelcoming, and it was hard not to notice that customers of different ethnicities were being ignored or treated noticeably worse while waiting in line. Surprisingly good for being a turnpike stop. The woman taking orders was having fun and enlivened the place. We got the new Golden BBQ sandwich, which was just ok. We tried the cole slaw which was cut in cubes, rather than shredded. The rice and beans was tasty but we are not sure why the beans a mash? The fries were just salted. A nice addition was a pickled jalapeño that actually had some spice to it. Overall, a fast food meal.

Well, it's a Popeyes chicken location, inside of a turnpike service plaza. They were really busy when I got there and were telling people in line ahead of me about what foods they didn't have. My son and I ordered our food, with him getting a chick strips meal, and me ordering meal number 2, which showed on the menu as a blackened chicken sandwich. When I ordered the guy said they only had the spicy chicken and asked if that was okay, so I said yes. After waiting about ten minutes we got our food and went and sat down. My son ordered the five piece strips but he had way more than that in his box. That was a pleasant surprise. Worst Popeyes experience I’ve ever had. I visited on 7/19 at 9:30pm. I ordered a combo, paid, and when my order came out, the gentleman behind the counter called my number and literally threw my food on the counter for me to get. It wasn’t in a bag or anything. They even threw the mashed potatoes on its side. Very disappointing and unprofessional behavior.

I thought surely it can't be as slow as the reviews. I was wrong. Lunch rush and one lady checking people out. She stops constantly to gather orders because the guy who should be doing that job is overwhelmed. A lot of kranky people in line shaking their heads as they wait impatiently. Tons of chicken stacked up, the lady in the kitchen is managing just fine! Just not able to keep up with the orders at the counter
