“One star is too generous—if I could, I’d give zero. I will never buy food from this restaurant again. Both the staff and the manager were awful. I clearly emphasized I wanted 12 chicken legs, even spelling ‘leg.’ Yet I got 3 legs, the rest were wings and breast. My husband showed them the leg, yet they refused to fix it, blaming us! This is the worst experience I’ve ever had.” I appreciate the reply, but the repeated use of an identical, templated response across many similar reviews is deeply concerning. The fact that these complaints continue makes it clear that the effort is focused on appearances rather than resolution.

Not only is this the second time I was double charged but it's the second time the owner/manager was difficult about reimbursing me, matter of fact I left without reimbursement and will contact my bank but by the time I got home from Morgantown and I live in Bridgeport, I was missing half my order, I'm missing 2 large mashed potatoes and the fries. The Mashed potatoes are my favorite and for 160 dollars I don't even get my mashed potatoes. I grew up eating Popeyes but I'm officially done. Something needs to be done about this location.

Just tried to eat there at 5pm today to the lobby doors being locked and no sign on door saying their lobby was closed. This isn't the first time we have had that situation happened. When we tried calling in we did not get an answer. When we pulled up to the restaurant there were two employees at the back of the store near the drive thru and they smelled like weed.

Terrible experience from the time I pulled into the parking lot. For starters, what I'm assuming was the general manager, had his Mercedes Benz parked diagonally in the handicap parking space in front of the store (which I only later knew because I saw the man walk from behind the counter and outside to go to his car when we were leaving). When we walked into the store, we weren't greeted at all, nor was anyone friendly or enthusiastic about customer service. They impatiently stared at my girlfriend and I as we attempted to place our order, and plenty of expletives and joking was heard coming from the back of the kitchen. Was asked how we were doing and upon replying and asking the same of him, they guy says he’s blessed. All good! The new guy messes up the register and the payment with card and it shows change back on customer side of screen. I noticed this and asked the would be manager and her smarts off saying,” no it doesn’t say any change!”. The cashier says yes it said that exact amount on the last customer and I said, look @ this screen. The manager does and flips out saying that I paid with a card and will get no change! Which I replied, why does it say that? He then replies, you get no change! At which point I felt like grabbing him by his long hair and yanking some get right into his body! The food was great as always but that dude needs an adjustment of some sort!
