Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I usually enjoy Popeyes, but this location on 64 in Lakewood Ranch was a disappointment. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and the staff seemed disorganized and less than friendly. My order came out wrong, I got rice instead of fries and the chicken was not spicy. The food itself wasn’t up to the usual Popeyes standard, chicken was barely cooked, and the sides tasted like they had been sitting for a while. The dining area also didn’t feel very clean, which added to the overall bad impression. With so many options nearby, this location really needs to step up its service and quality to keep customers coming back.

Oct 6 wanting to give it another try.....went back at 12:30 today. Side door again locked only 1 door open to dining room. 8 people waiting and no one had food. This is when I should've left. I was greeted 7 minutes after entering with now 4 other people behind me. Ordered at 12:24 and don't get food until 12:45!!!! Many people came in and left. WHY WOULD U OPEN A LOCATION WHEn U CANT STAFF IT AND RISK YOUR REPUTATION??! Not only that I had a piece of 2" plastic in my chicken!!!! I am done and y'all should be ashamed of this location. Sept. I've tried this place three times. The first time I sat in the drive-thru for about 20 minutes before I just left. The second time I ordered online and waited about 20 minutes inside the restaurant for my order to finally be ready. The third and final time I walked into place an order and was ignored for about 10 minutes. There were maybe three staff members sort of nonchalantly doing something in the back. About six or seven guests were waiting on their orders in the dining area. I left without ever being greeted and without ever even having an opportunity to place my order. This was the final straw for me. There is a Publix just down the street and the fried chicken there is just as good and the service is 1 million times better.

I really love popeyes food so it tasted fine per usual but i wasnt told how long i had to wait in drive thru. I work fast food and for us, we are supposed to tell customers how long theyd have to wait for items and asked again if that wait time would be okay. But i wasnt told and i guess thats fine so i waited about 10 minutes at the second window and received my food, was driving home and realized that they didnt give me the fries and biscuit so i drove back the 10 minutes to the store and walked in telling the lady at the front the items i didnt recieve. She apologizes but then walks away and again I’m not told how long I had to wait.
