Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This is the only Popeyes I ever go to and it’s for a good reason. It’s the best one in the state!! The foods always hot and fresh and their staff is really nice. I wanted to shout out the staff working tonight (2/1/26 @5:40 ish)!! The food was great and I can’t believe how nicely assembled my box was. This just shows how much care this store puts into their work. 10/10 team!!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to start this review by highlighting the ripple effect this Popeyes location in Johnston, RI, has had on its rival just one street 100 feet away: KFC. You can see both restaurants from each other’s parking lots, but the comparison ends there. Popeyes essentially forced KFC to throw in the towel. Over time, KFC swapped out their iconic menu items for cost-cutting substitutes, a clear reaction to the wave of competition Popeyes unleashed with their revamped approach to fast food. Popeyes didn’t just open this location—they strategically opened countless new locations near KFCs across the country, all while introducing a rejuvenated menu, an energized and high-caliber staff, and, of course, the now-legendary, mega-viral chicken sandwich that sealed the deal. Fist time back in years team was so amazing most calmest place and staff. The cashier was friendly and had a smile she was very polite and helpful she also had really good service. The food was not too bad but the potato’s was very peppery the chicken sandwich was really good alone with the pie so that was a bonus. The store was really clean and well kept.

The food, as long as you ask for them to prepare it fresh is usually pretty good. The counter people could definitely use courtesy schooling classes. And definitely don't go to the one in Scituate (the worse).

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! Had gone on Sunday 2/23/20 for a meal and waited 20 minutes after ordering through drive-thru. Upon arrival to my home, I opened the box and found MOLD on all of the biscuits. This establishment has been falling quickly and needs to be reviewed by the Department of Health immediately. The health and safety of customers should be the first priority of every establishment. I have filed a complaint with Popeye's but have yet to be given a response!
