Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

My husband wanted Popeyes so I went there for lunch. They were so nice and gave me the best service. I haven’t eaten there in ages. I’ve never had workers be so nice and cheerful. My chicken wasn’t finished yet so they asked me to pull over, but it was there in less than 2 minutes and they got my order correct, all my food was hot, they remembered sauces and napkins… AND they gave me extra biscuits and larger fries. That was so nice of them.

Everytime I go by there they're not open. Was supposed to open at 10:00. They said don't open until 10:30. Okay went by today and they say don't open until 11:00. We site says 10:30. Popeyes get your act together and get people who want to come to work and actually work. Jena Popeyes is a sad situation indeed.

I'm not sure how this place stays open other than that the food is edible when you get it. Tonight was not the first time I've seen a customer leave the drive thru. It was another of those nights at Popeyes where the cashier stopped to check on every item we ordered to make sure they "still had it." It took quite a while. A chicken place potentially out of chicken every time we go through the drive thru? I watched the man behind me lose patience and go across the street to Sonic. Sonic somehow manages to have most of their menu items available at 8pm and they were packed with vehicles. We were the only people going through Popeyes when we pulled up. We stopped at the Jena Popeyes when we drove through town and took a chance on it. Why do I say it that way? Suffice to say we have experienced bad service and subpar food there before. But this time the food was great, the preparation of our order was quick, and a shoutout to Lashandra who offered us some options to save money by optimizing our order. Fast food restaurants are suffering from employee shortages in this day and age and the folks on the job after to work harder to perform their duties. The lobby here is closed intermittently for the past few months due to the lack of employees. It is nice to get a good dinner and be treated courteously these days.
