Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

20250710 Stopped here to get some fried chicken for my pup. If wings are considered white meat, I don't understand why Popeyes would include is as 1 of the 3 pieces of a dark meat meal??? I would prefer they charge me an extra dollar and give me 2 legs and thigh instead. So annoying. Anyway, I hesitated coming here because of the negative reviews, but I decided to give it a chance. Luckily, except for the wing, no fault to this location, I am very pleased with the chicken pieces I got. The fried chicken was hot and freshly made. The employee at the drive thru was polite. Unfortunately, my pup didn't eat the chicken. It could be that she's too tired to eat.

This is probably the worst fast food experience I've ever had. The food was really good (bar one thing), but the service experience was awful. The person that initially helped us was really nice, but later on someone else came out with our food and started saying some really vile stuff to the other staff members about me in Spanish, because I guess I don't look like I'd understand it. I thought that would be the end of it but they packed a piece of chicken that I can only describe as a chunk of leather in our box under all the other pieces of chicken. It felt like they pulled it out from under the workspaces or that it was a week old as we couldn't even tear it apart with our bare hands.

What is going on here? Food has drastically went down hill. I always went here for the chicken sandwich. The last couple times it was meh but I was so grossed out this last time to the point just hearing the word Popeyes makes me 🤢 I ordered my chicken Sandwich, and started eating. The outer coating was greasy and mushy, no crunch at all. As I bit into it, it was really wet inside and slimy. I had to toss it and now there ain’t no way I’m eating Popeyes again. Thanks Holland MI Popeyes, you destroyed my love of your establishment and even writing this and thinking about it makes me 🤢. It used to be so good at the Holland location. What has happened? Ordered my food at 10:31. Was asked to pull forward which wasn't a big deal, then proceeded to wait 12 minutes until I pulled back through the drive through. Once pulled forward they had my now coldish food waiting as it looked like it had been sitting. Note to anyone else, if they ask you to pull forward they just dont want to mess up their drive thru times. I wouldn't advise to do so.

Employees are not paying attention to their customers. My boyfriend and I stopped by so I could try for the first time...needless to say, it left a sour taste in my mouth. It wasn't busy when we went so we opted for the drive thru. In the drive thru they asked my boyfriend if he wanted classic or spicy. He said classic and they gave him spicy. When I ordered, I asked for the 3 pieces combo. There are 2 3 piece combos. One is the tenders and the other is the regular chicken. They didn't ask to clarify but asked if wanted spicy or classic (also available in both combos). When it came to sides, I asked for mashed potatoes without gravy and was told "we can not do that, do you still want that?" I said no..but they gave it anyway.
