When I looked this location up on Yelp and saw the 1½-star rating, I figured, “It’s Popeyes — it can’t be that bad.” Unfortunately, it was. When I received my order, the chicken tenders were clearly undercooked — they weren’t crispy and weren’t even golden brown yet. They looked like they needed more time in the fryer. I also had to clean my own table before sitting down. Communication at the counter was difficult, and I ended up using Google Translate to place my order. I don’t mind language differences, but as a first-time customer it didn’t make for a smooth experience. Overall, the visit felt poorly managed. With better training and attention to quality control, this location could improve significantly. Right now, the experience reflected the rating.

As somebody who works in food/customer service i hate writing bad reviews.. i just came here 11:30Pm 11/10/25 first thing i got to say is the girl working the drive through has ZERO customer service skills. She acted and sounded like she didn’t wanna be there at all. Like AT ALL.. And looking at these comments i can tell this isnt the first time this employee has acted this way. She is a hispanic lady and no name tag so didn’t catch her name. Any manager reading this please train your employees better because this is clearly an ongoing issue. my other compliant is that we asked for fresh fries and you can tell they just tossed old fries back in the fryer. really gross. the chicken was okay. ⭐☆☆☆☆ I just visited the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on TV Highway, and I genuinely thought I ordered chicken strips — not deep-fried resistance bands. These things were so hard and chewy I almost filed a workers comp claim on my jaw. I’m a cook. I know the difference between fresh and “been under the heat lamp since the Obama administration.” This was the latter. I brought them back politely and asked for fresh strips. The employee looked at me like I insulted her ancestors. She grabbed a manager. The manager walks over, says “Oh, not fresh?” like this is shocking news, grabs my box, and then — I kid you not — uses tongs to LAUNCH my chicken across the room like he’s trying out for the NBA. We usually order quite a bit from this location. I ordered an online order and picked it up in the drive-thru. I got home and unpacked the order and 3 boxes were missing. 2 of 4 boxes of wings, 1 box of biscuits. Mind you, It was downpour rain outside. I tried calling the store multiple times with no answer. I contacted online support. So, I went to the store drive thru and let them know the issue. The man at the drive-thru insisted he packed the order and everything should be there. He then insisted to SEE the order. I let him know the order is already at my house and unpacked, but I had my receipt and a picture of the items that were in the bag. He called me a liar multiple times and said I was crazy! After a lot arguing back and forth, he admitted that “only” the biscuits were missing.

I've been coming to this Popeyes off and on for the past 3 years. I do appreciate that there are more locations now than there have been in the past 30 as the only two locations outside of Beaverton used to be out on MLK in Portland and at a truck stop on the way down to Salem off of I-5. So it's great that we have two different locations within 10 minutes of each other right here in Beaverton. I do prefer this location as it's closer to where I currently live and the overall getting in and out of the parking area/ strip mall that is part of is much better than the other location. There are proper lights and signals and easy front and back entrances and exits to main roads. The overall aesthetic of Popeyes is perfectly fine. That's exactly what you expect from Popeyes.
