I’ve been using this library since I was a kid as I grew up here and it has always been such a beautiful space. I bring my own kids here now as the children’s room is fantastic. I love that they have so many different activity groups that come here such as story times on Mondays and they offer support to the local homeschooling co-op. Great space to come and read too if you want somewhere cozy to relax and read

We have lost confidence, and trust, in this establishment. This library is, in the staff's words, 'privately funded'. It is not a town or county library. They do what they want, and do not operate as you would expect a library to, in regards to how they interact with the public or their view on what a library is and should be. Conway Public Library on Greenwood Ave outside the tourist area 5 1/2 miles away is an incredible establishment with much more services, public bathrooms, educated - intelligent - honorable - lovely staff none of whom are biased, discriminatory, ignorant, uneducated to the point of detriment to the patrons. Our review: The most unsavory rude dishonorable nose in the air type individuals at this library. Not all perhaps, but enough and the ones that set the tone and

It has to be embarassing to have a google review this low with so many people bringing to light the same complaints about this library. I read in the reviews about the director being on a power trip and liking to kick people out of the library for silly things - I was here for barely an hour before I witnessed myself her very confrontationally remove someone from for something trivial (And then I clearly heard her go back to the staff desk and brag/laugh about it with the other employees. Yes, that actually happened.) Extremely unprofessional. She makes this library and this town look very bad to visitors and the library board should review her tenure. Oh, and the overt liberal bias in this library is quite dishonest and insidious. I saw tons of books promoting liberal sexual and politica

As a visitor to the area, my friends and I went to the library seeking a quiet, local place to have a zoom meeting. When we walked into the library we approached the front desk and asked where in the library would be the best place for a private zoom call. She stated that there is the conference room that was full of people, but that there might be a free room upstairs, but we weren’t able to reserve anything. She said we could take a look or we could wait for the general manager to speak with us. We decided to just go upstairs and look for a room. As was predicted, the conference room was full of people, but the open teen room was empty and the area near the computers was free. Since we both had to take zoom calls, my friend and I separated and went into different rooms. I sat in the room

My friends and I were here a few weeks ago and wanted to use a private space for work meetings. We asked the librarians if there was a space to use, and they told us about a conference room that was full of people. We were told we could go upstairs and wait for a head librarian to talk with us about a private area. The head librarian stopped me when I went to the restroom to say there was no space and that my friend couldn’t use the teen room (which btw this was in the middle of a school day and there were no teens there). She did not bother to come upstairs and talk to my friends about this. About 30 minutes later, Angela, the executive director, walks into the teen room and I start hearing her yelling at my friend. My friend was telling her that she was gathering her things and leaving,
