Pop Pie Co. Pacific Beach

We stopped by Pacific Beach and wanted to grab a drink and had a little dessert. There’s a pop pie co there and luckily there’s a parking spot right outside their door. We ordered a cup of chai tea and a nice americano, plus a key lime pie. To be honestly, I didn’t like it that much like before. I remember I really enjoyed their pies during pandemic and always ordered some delivery. But this key lime pie, I will say it’s just a regular pie, I think the one we had at The Duke’s is much more delicious. The drinks are also regular ones, nothing special to me.

I had a date who was vegan, so I was scoping around places with vegan desserts. When I tell you their blueberry yuzu crumble was the BEST vegan desert I’ve ever had in my life, you better TRUST me. I could not tell it was vegan at all and had the flavor and structure of a dairy and egg based dessert. It was PHENOMENAL, strong berry flavors, flaky crust, and crunchy top. I paired the crumble with the strawberry oat vegan ice cream, which was also so freaking good, again couldn’t tell it as a vegan icecream at all. The girl at the counter also said they always have 4 vegan icecreams in rotation. I had also called earlier that day, asking about vegan options, and a guy also mentioned I could check the website for pictures and descriptions, so overall the staff went above and beyond for serv

The person working the counter was serving straight face diva realness but that’s how I knew I was gonna get the good recs and I was riiigghhtttt this pumpkin pie + brown butter pecan ice cream duo was reasonably priced and extremely delish.

Very quaint restaurant, was craving a chicken pot pie, was pleasantly surprised by the best pot pie in San Diego. Amazing pot pies and slices as well

Really unique and fun. Staff was cool as it comes. Try the Ube ice cream. You wont be disappointed. Coffee was spectacular! Will be back!
