Updated review (8/2025): Fresh food, fab taste, the service was so nice! (Points to improve - chicken flavor is great, could be a bit more juicy. Big salad should come with a serving spoon as it’s not thinly cut, and a regular spoon is not convenient). The restaurant is very clean, the new renovation is classy 🤜🤛. We did love it that you could enjoy Greek music while eating! We’ll be back more (:
My daughter and I visited for a late lunch on Thursday March 20th for the 1st time and to say it was exceptional is an understatement. Greeks and Armenians (which we are) share a common approach to our food and not many Greek restaurants do Greek food justice. Pontos Taverna did! We had Avgolemono soup which was perfect! Just the right amount of lemon and brought me RIGHT BACK to my childhood! We then had the Dolmades and for something that wasn't prepared on-site, it was really quite good. We also had the Melitzanosalata (eggplant) dip which my daughter LOVED. In addition, we had Xoriatiki and Pantzaria and the latter was EXACTLY the way beets should be! The Greek salad was also very very good! We also had the Xtapodi (octopus) and we enjoyed it immensely. I prefer mine just gri
My favorite place to return to for special occasions. The food is always exceptional — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and consistently impressive. A dinning experience you can’t create at home. I also want to highlight the young lady at front. She is hospitable, attentive, and makes multitasking look easy. Wishing this business continued success.
Very good and authentic Greek food! Reminds me of the food I had on my trip to Greece! I had the souvlaki platter and my friend had a gyro sandwich. Both delicious!
This spot lives up to its glowing reviews. The atmosphere strikes a pleasing balance between casual and refined, with crisp linen tablecloths, neatly lined napkins, and elegant square china that sets a subtle tone of sophistication. The food does not disappoint: the lemon wine chicken is bright and flavorful, while the chicken souvlaki is tender and generously portioned. Desserts and drinks are equally authentic—the Greek coffee is robust and aromatic, and the baklava is sweet, flaky, and true to tradition. Street parking is available, adding a convenient touch to an otherwise exceptional dining experience.
