Pollos Asados El Regio #7

Today, Sunday, we were craving some roast chicken at home, so my husband asked me to pick it up from El Regio. What a disappointment! The chicken was dry, tough, and burnt. It's unbelievable to eat money thrown away! I recommend anyone buying takeout check the food there so there are no surprises when you get home.

A lot of people complaining in the reviews haven't had genuine Mexican food. The food may look burnt but it isn't burn inside or dry at all. And the rice is really good. Meat is soft and juicy and overall a very delicious meal. I do wish the portions were bigger but it was very fulfilling for a family of 4

Service is usually good, but today it wasn't. They were taking long to give us our flauta plates. After about 20 minutes, they told us they ran out of rice and it would be ready in about 15 minutes. We asked if we could have fries instead & they said no, but they could give us beans instead. We did not want beans. So when we were about to finish our flautas they brought the rice. ☹️

Food fire. Fajita fire. Charro beans fire. Cook put thier whole foot in the food. Amazing authentic Mexican food.

This location compared to others is awesome I had stopped eating at pollo regio I just learned this has a similar name but it must be totally different This location has the best pollo asado The rib plate is delicious
