Poki Bowl

I live 3 hours away from this location and everytime I visit my boyfriend and make sure to buy lunch from here at least twice. The proportions are very generous. They always load up my bowl with lots of salmon, spicy mayo and the crunchy toppings. The flavors are amazing too. Just look at the bowls I got.

Great experience here! I’ve been a sushi man for a long time, but this was my first experience with a poke bowl. You see, I have Alpha-Gal Syndrome, which makes me allergic to all mammal meats and byproducts. Yes, I am allergic to beef, pork, dairy, etc. To make matters worse, I travel for work. Every week I am on the road averaging 1,000-1,500 miles. Since my diagnosis 7 months ago, I have had to be very careful where I eat. Simplicity and availability have limited me to 2-3 restaurants. My very first visit was awesome the second time around well let's say new smell has wore off. I order the small two protein bowl. I got served a very very small portion of protein. Maybe they are cutting back on their servings or is it inflation. My enthusiasm for this place has been deflated. Maybe the will get it right for the next customer.

As a girl who was born and raised in Hawaii, this place is the best poke place I’ve found on the east coast. The salmon is the best because the chunks are big and they taste delicious (NOT fishy at all!). I really respect and appreciate that they mix the protein with the cucumber and onion and the sauce. That’s what makes it legit. What I love is that they always listen to me when I ask for my salad greens to be dressed in the sauce with the protein too. The lady who manages or owns this store really cares about her customers. The food and service here is always fantastic, which is why I always eat here whenever I’m in town. I got a dragon roll and spicy tuna roll both were delicious! The restaurant was very clean and the staff is nice. I’ll definitely be back. The picture is missing a piece of each roll because I already took a bite.
