Pokelava Poke Bowl - Collegetown

We stopped by Pokelava when we were visiting Ithaca. The decor was very cute inside and a lot of seating was available. We went at a strange time to eat so there wasn’t a lot of people there. There were two ladies working and they both were fantastic. They carried our food for us and made sure that we were in the right seats. The food was so good and I didn’t realize how much food you really got with the bento box and we got a roll to share so I wish I wouldn’t have got that roll because of bento box would definitely fill you up. The only thing I didn’t like is that there was not ice for customer use. They did ask if you wanted ice and they would get it for you but then when I wanted to refill, I feel weird asking for more ice. Also, we got the juice there and they all were good and I comb

Bowl is a healthy meal option but it didn’t hit the mark in terms of taste for me. Fresh fish smell in the meal is not great for me, but if you like that and sea weed, you might love it. I don’t remember the name but a crunchy toppings was great.

This place offers a fresh and satisfying poke experience, with customizable options that cater to diverse tastes. The ingredients are fresh, especially the fish. The restaurant’s clean, modern decor adds to the appeal, making it an ideal spot for a quick, healthy meal. The Fireball bowl is particularly recommended. Service is not always on point.

Love this place! The fish never looks tired and the portions are hearty without being excessive. Love all the options and toppings, and unique canned Hawaiian drinks to go with your meal. Pro tip: Get a rice and salad combo for your base...filling with a nice crunch 👍
