Customer Reviews
This was our first time visiting as a family, and we were so glad we finally made it for a traditional Chinese Saturday meal! The restaurant was spotless, and the service was both incredibly fast and welcoming. We absolutely loved everything we ordered—we didn't leave a single bite! We will definitely be back soon to explore more of the menu.
Moving my reviews over from Yelp. This was the ROTD in St Louis on 4/16/19: I've had Poke a few different places around the country but none have them have been in coastal areas. That said, I don't know that the sashimi-grade fish used in Poke is going to vary a lot as I believe most of it is brought in frozen. Salmon and tuna are pretty run-of-the-mill these days and the rest of the stuff offered is pre-cooked. Besides, truly magnificent fish has no business being doused in sauce, co-mingled with a dozen ingredients and then squirted with even more sauce. I had a small bowl for $10. There were a lot of choices to be made and I started with the white sushi rice then selected the salmon & octopus for my proteins, added edamame (not listed as a protein but it is), sliced cucumbers, masago
Thrilled to have Taiwanese breakfast option in St. Louis. Service was a bit slow because all the food was made to order. And they were busy! They were extremely kind and food was delicious. Highly recommend.
I was excited to try the Taiwanese breakfast offered here (marketed as Papa Shih's) on Saturdays because it’s unheard of in St. Louis. I drove 30 minutes from the county for this. The owner was super nice but the food was very bad for the price. I guess I shouldn’t have expected too much since it’s St. Louis. The beef sesame flatbread was nothing like it’s supposed to be. The flatbread was cold and there were literally two thin slices of cold beef inside for $10. It’s supposed to be hot and filled with meat, not cold. I probably should have asked them to warm it up but I didn't want to complain. I could get more meat for $10 from Tai Ke or another restaurant. I spent $25 on 3 items and still somehow did not feel full. I thought it would be better quality since they only make it on Saturda
While my husband had surgery I took off for a quick bite. POKE DOKE was amazing. I had the KANAAGA BOWL with teriyaki mayo. I highly recommend stopping by for a quick bite.
