POKE DON

I normally love PokeDon, they were my preferred Poke place. Today I purchased a Poke Salad Bowl and got an unwanted guest in my bowl (see picture). I tried to find an email on their website to reach out to them, but all I could find was a phone number to place an order. Stay away from the Poke Salad bowl and just go with rice, less chance for a massive bug.

Took friends to lunch. They suggested the place. I wasn’t very optimistic but was very surprised on how good the ramen was. I’m use to going to more traditional Japanese places. My friends are an older couple and the staff was kind and patient with them. Something I don’t usually see from younger staff in an establishment model like this. I appreciated that.

Today I had a wonderful experience at Poke Don Manchester. Cindy understood my order, she made two amazing bowls for me and my daughter; and she has the best attitude and customer service. The fact that she has been an employee for five years says a lot. Thank you Cindy for being so kind and warm today. Thank you Liza for being a fantastic team mate. I'll be back!

Pokedon in Manchester offers efficient service, making ordering easy. The Hawaiian bowl with an extra scoop of salmon was satisfying, though the tuna and salmon tasted alright but not as fresh as other Poki places in Connecticut. The rice was still hot and fresh at home, and the masago added a delightful flavor. The portion size was filling, providing a convenient dinner option. The upbeat music added to the atmosphere, and the place was clean with good seating. However, the decor and design could use improvement, as the sushi bar was decorated differently from the seating area. When it comes down to it. If you wanna have a good full meal come here. They’re fast and efficient and made things easy.

By far the best Poke place i have been to anywhere. I Loved my bowl, the ingredients were all very fresh. Clean spot and nice staff. Cant wait to go back.
