This was one of those rare finds. I was looking for a one-night stay for my son and me, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The host was exceptionally gracious, and the rooms were outstanding—immaculately clean, cozy, and genuinely felt like home..

Completely charming and beautiful rooms in a perfect location! We stayed in the Satinwood room, and it is one of the most peaceful, well-thought-out, and lovely overnight accommodations I've ever seen. High ceilings with lots of windows, beautifully decorated, fireplace, and a small balcony overlooking the well-tended garden courtyard. Breakfast is included, with a variety of breakfast items included in the small refrigerator in the room. Very convenient and allows for a flexible schedule in the mornings. Its only a few minutes to town, a sweet little community with good restaurants, cute stores, and a market with anything else you might need. Ralph was very welcoming and helpful, and he was knowledgeable about the area and the trails and sites at Point Reyes National Seashore, too!

Unfortunately, this inn is neither luxurious or peaceful. This was probably stunning in the 80s but if there have been any updates, there are not enough to show. This is also not a traditional bed and breakfast. The common areas are sad and the kitchen unseemly. Smudge stained handles on cupboards and ice that tastes like it was made in someone's old freezer which gives it an odd taste. ||Pros:|The jacuzzi tub in the room is amazing! Spacious and clean with plenty of bubble bath. ||Cons:|Close to highway (also a 10 minute walk to town but on the highway so a little sketch) not a big deal when windows are closed but can't do that because there is no AC. And I'm pretty sure they leave the heater on often making very hot rooms. |Very outdated bedding, towels, decor (think fake flowers), fri

This place has probably seen better days. The hotel and grounds had a look of benign neglect about them, as if the innkeeper didn't really care much about taking care of the place anymore. Clean but not top notch. For example, the little garden off our bedroom had a small patio that could have been charming but instead was filled with overgrown weeds.||This isn't actually a B&B, despite the description on the website. The "breakfast" was just a small selection of prepackaged stuff that was in our room. The breakfast wasn't even as nice as what you'd get at an inexpensive hotel. I would suggest that the innkeeper instead give his guests vouchers to have pastries and coffee at the Bovine Bakery which is a short drive away.||There is a nice enough larger cement courtyard with some gard

My friend and I stayed in two of the upstairs rooms for two nights. This review is quite mixed: ||On the positive side the upstairs rooms have vaulted ceilings and lots of light (which I very much appreciate) and the beds are comfortable. The little decks in each room were charming with views of the courtyard and a glimpse of the hills. The host (who built this place) was very pleasant and welcoming. He lives on the property and is readily available. The large in-room tub was wonderful and hot water plentiful. The check in and check out hours are very reasonable. The kitchen downstairs is available with a microwave, and the dining room and common area is quite lovely as is the courtyard.space.||There are indeed small refrigerators and a toaster in each room and for continental breakfast— b
