Went for dinner with friends. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Cozy, more casual atmosphere. Great place for a group meal
This location is about 30 minutes from my home. Whet there to attend an event and I am glad that I attended the event and was able to experience this restaurant. This restaurant was established in 1859 and it has the historic feel . The food was excellent so as the service. We will go back again.
The food was good and reasonably priced. It has a similar vibe to the old Neffs Hotel (I miss that place). Hot bacon dressing for my salad...yes please!
A while back I had wings and burnt ends And everything was delicious. Last night, I had ordered two appetizers while sitting at the bar area (other seating options were not available) It took the bartender a while to even place our order because she was the only one behind the bar making drinks for all the tables as well as people seated at the bar. (Not her fault because she was very busy). I think on nights that are really busy they should have more than one person making drinks as well as taking orders for the bar area. Great food. Great service. I got the smokehouse sampler. The brisket was good. The wings were nice and crisp. The ribs were mouthwatering. Baked beans were saucy. The baked potato was good. The cornbread came in a cast iron pan. Definitely have to go back for dessert. For the 1st time ever, I had blueberry BBQ sauce. It was perfectly made.
