Point of View Bed & Breakfast

The location is great if you are looking for a quiet place away from the town. The hosts are amazing and made us feel right at home. The room was super comfortable and I had front row view of the most spectacular start night, right from my bed! Highly recommend.

We visited the Mississippi River area to hike and search for eagles. Diane and Andrew have an awesome location! Great nights sleep and welcome morning sun drenched the Shooting Star room. The generous sized open areas of the home: kitchen,dining/living room, were perfect for nature viewing. Breakfast was satisfyingly delicious. Conversation came easily with their knowledge of the area. Very pleasant atmosphere.

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at the Point of View Bed and Breakfast, and it was a delightful experience! The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a cozy and inviting vibe. The breakfast served was nothing short of amazing! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful experience. 10/10

There is a reason it is the number 1 B and B in the Midwest. The hospitality is off the charts. They have it all. Short distance from everything, a raspberry patch that you can pick your own berries, trails on the property where you can be alone with your own thoughts and a breakfast that is as home made as it gets. But the number 1 reason is the attitude of the home owner. They treat you like family. We will return here in the future.

This was a lovely home built as a bed and breakfast. The rooms were decent sized, clean, and made you feel at home. It was back seemingly in the middle of nowhere in Iowa, but that's what made it awesome. We were able to come and go as we wanted. Upon arrival, we sat with Diane and scheduled a time for breakfast. We were able to look out our windows from our room and see the stars at night. Diane cooked a phenomenal breakfast spread for us before we left. She paid attention to food allergies. She sat and talked with us to get to know us a little as well. I would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone stopping by. The Effigy Mounds and several state park are close by.
