What a gem! My husband and I have stopped here several times for breakfast in the past few months. Portions are big and the price is reasonable! The food is always fantastic! The Country Fried Steak is amazing, and that isn't always the case in many restaurants where I have ordered it. They do not skimp on flavor. Has browns are crispy on the outside and eggs are cooked perfectly to order. If you choose the pancake on the side instead of the toast, be prepared for a pancake the same size as the plate! Our service has always been prompt and friendly. The restaurant is clean and inviting and the staff is warm and welcoming. If the owner is there, and he usually is, he is friendly and courteous while also helping out his staff and checking with patrons to see how they are enjoying their meal

This little spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I actually stopped by twice once for dinner and when I got into town, and again for breakfast before heading out. For dinner, I went with their classic bacon cheeseburger with steak fries and honestly, it was a pretty solid burger for a small cafe! Cooked perfectly, juicy, and flavorful. The fries were good too, though I'd personally add a touch of seasoning next time. The morning before I left town, I ordered my go-to classic breakfast – eggs over medium, hash browns, rye toast, and bacon and it did not disappoint! Everything was cooked just right. My experiences here are consistently fantastic! I never know what I am stumbling into on the road, but I am thankful to have found this little gem. The service staff are genuinely pleasant and appropriately attentive. The food is superb, and the atmosphere is pleasant, even for me sitting alone. Definitely a must visit for any travelers passing through or coming into the area.
