Pleasants Rose Mansion Inn

Our stay in the Rose Room was FANTASTIC! This place is beautiful inside and out! Susie and Mike were gracious hosts and made my husband and I feel as though we were at home! We highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Vevay! Thanks again, Susie and Mike, for making our first visit to Pleasants Rose Mansion Inn a wonderful experience.

Wow, from the moment we walked in we received such warm hospitality that made you feel like home. The hosts were incredible and made you feel like family, they went over the history and highlights of the mansion, prepared an amazing breakfast; the rose room we stayed in was gorgeous! Over looked the river & was such a peaceful room! The most comfortable bed we both have ever slept in! If I could give this place a 100 out of 10 I would, if you are looking for some place with hundreds of historic paintings, wood work & furniture with an overall amazing story, stay here! You won't be dissapointed. Walking in this mansion will always feel like "honey I'm home!"

Every detail in this home is beautiful and tasteful from the bones to the decor to the abundant amenities. There are fresh gorgeous flower arrangements, an elegantly packaged gift on your bed, dishes of fun chocolates, and 24/7 gourmet coffee. The beds are cozy and artfully dressed, the ceilings are high, and the walls are covered with era themed fine art. Hosts, Mike and Susie, are warmly welcoming, available and helpful while staying discreetly in the background. Every breakfast was a sumptuous work of art. The view from the porch swing of the manicured lawn, lovely trees and flowers stretching to the river is astonishing. It is a wonderful retreat.

Mike and Susie went above and beyond for my friend and I, when we stayed at the Mansion. You can feel the history when you walk through the doors, and each room has a feast for the eyes. For those of you who are Victorian nerds like me, every detail is Eastlake style, from the doorknobs to the frames. Breakfast was delicious, and included Mike's special take on Eggs Benedict (made vegetarian for me). I enjoyed doing my work on the porch, overlooking the river. But there are several well-appointed rooms inside in which to work or relax, as well. We were just a few blocks' walk from Market St, where we had pizza at Roxy's and coffee from Leaves & Lace. Everything is clean and gorgeous at the mansion, and the owners are so kind. They even prayed for us before we left on our 10-hour drive hom

We had an epic time at Pleasants Rose Mansion Inn on July 3rd through the 4th. We stayed in the beautiful, comfortable Rose Room overlooking the scenic Ohio River, and enjoyed amenities inside and outside the mansion.|Mike is a kind gentleman of many talents. Not only did Mike give a little history about the assortment of dining venues in town, he happily prepared a breakfast feast for us that would even make Gordon Ramsay wonder where Mike received his training. |We would highly recommend staying at Pleasants Rose Mansion for anyone traveling near Vevay, Indiana.
