Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast

The moment you walk in you feel like you’re at home. This was our very first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we were very pleased with the whole experience. Heidi and Don were amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They made you feel more like family rather than guests. The room had a great view and we were right over the pub ( yes they have a cute little pub), which some people may stray away from but we barely even heard any noise from it in our room. The room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing. The first morning I had the egg soufflé with ham, it was really good, the fresh strawberries and raspberry’s were very good as well. I can't say enough about our three-night stay at this lovely B&B. Set on a side road yet easy to get to and close to town, the inn has a wrap around porch that was perfect for reading, lounging, and snoozing. Our room was beautiful and had all the amenities including bath products and robes, and there was a small balcony overlooking the backyard. We enjoyed using the common space in the evenings to play cards or one of the board games from the cabinet. Breakfast was scrumptious, and Heidi (the innkeeper) handled my food restrictions perfectly. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub but it was nice knowing they were available.

We had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast recently and really enjoyed our stay! Heidi was very welcoming and her breakfasts were delicious! The inn is decorated very tastefully and is so clean. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs at night, so peaceful! The attached tavern with the outdoor seating was just fabulous, thank you Don for your hospitality....we will definitely be back 😊

We found Pleasant View to be a delight with the owners being friendly, professional, and accommodating. It is well maintained and located on a quiet country road. We spent some quiet, relaxing time on the large farmer's porch. Our room was large and comfortable with a nice solid comfortable mattress. The delicious breakfasts were home made with fresh ingredients. We will definitely return at some point in the future.

Spectacularly charming and immaculate inn! I ended up staying here last minute, and Heidi was so welcoming and accommodating. I regret that I did not have an opportunity to enjoy her world-class breakfast, but have made a point to come back specifically to do so. Heidi was so gracious, and got up early to make me coffee prior to a swimming event. Enjoying coffee on the beautiful wraparound porch has been one of the highlights of my summer. Thank you Heidi!
