Plaza Tapatia

Had the beeef and chicken nachos for lunch, they were tasty. The restaurant is dimly lit and needs a paint job and some cleaning. The employee (maybe owner) was nice and the service was expedient. I like that they have El Yucateco hot sauce available. Not sure if I would visit again as there was nothing too special about the food and the lack of upkeep I see in the restaurant makes me wonder if they are skimping on quality and safety in the kitchen.

My husband and I went here last night and were both very happy with our appetizers and meals! We got the chorizo queso and I got the Poblana enchiladas. I wasn't a huge fan on the poblano sauce because I think it had mole in it, but everything was really flavorful. We had prompt service, the waitress was pleasant, the owner checked in with us, the place was very clean and it was a very relaxing setting. We how to hit this place again next time we come down to Maryland 😋 Thank you for the delicious food!

The food is authentic Mexican traditional food everything was great The soft tacos and the nachos or beyond words

A side burrito looked like an enchilada. Side enchiladas tasted like tomato paste out of the can. No flavor to the steak burrito grande. Sizzling fajita came out not sizzling and no tortillas. Had to remind him of the 4th meal… just tacos that weren’t served with everyone else’s meal. Waiter looked like it was his first day maybe(benefit of the doubt but no one was helping him…sooo….. maybe tired). I love Mexican food and can eat any of it. But it was definitely the worst I’ve ever had and the service was very amateur.
