Plaza Mexico Mariscos Restaurant Bar and Grill

Absolutely loved this place. We eat A LOT of Mexican food and I can legitimately say that the Jalisco burrito is a Top 5 contender. When I say Top 5 I mean, ever.....across the country. Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. Everything was amazing, except price. As good as the food and experience was, $20+ for just about every popular entree...especially in Zephyrhills, just hits wrong for a Mexican food chain restaurant. Kudos to the cooks here for making excellent food. 👏

I’m not happy with the drink portion. You pay for the large Margarita, as you see the level, it’s not good presentation- when you spend $18 on a drink you expect it to be full. Food is good, service is good. It just never does any good to say anything because they don’t offer you a discount on alcohol.

I regularly ate the ceviche here because it was the best. The seafood was fresh and never smelled bad or made me sick. The portion was perfect and if I ordered it to go they put salsa and chips. These past two times it’s been ridiculous. Hector why are they drowning the ceviche in this sauce? It’s not that I don’t like spicy but imagine the people that don’t? I like spicy foods but the amount they put in it is RIDICULOUS. Please fix this. I attached a picture of the plated ceviche so you can see that the ceviche was not this sauced. I’m not a picky eater at all but what I just got delivered is almost inedible if I’m paying $46 for this ceviche and a agua we got to do better

Food is great! Portion sizes are aplenty. Atmosphere, incredible. Pretty chill during the week for lunch. Very vibey and lively for dinner on the weekend. Either way, always a great visit!

This place had the best Mexican food that I’ve had in a long time, and their drinks are phenomenal, everyone is very friendly, service was great. I definitely recommend trying this place out. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it.
