Plaza Azteca Collegeville

This is probably one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They have a huge menu and the food has all been really good! I’ve had their chicken quesadilla which was so good, the fried rice and one of the special bowls. My boyfriend has had the Birria tacos and quesadilla and loves those. My dad absolutely loves this place and orders the empanadas every time. It’s definitely a good place for big parties and families. They have so many food options and I’ve always had a good experience when I dine here. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the mood for some really good Mexican food and honestly the portion sizes are huge and priced well.

Food was delicious here! Perfect spice level. Tacos were great! Good options for vegetarians. Nice ambience. Quick service. Staff was kind and courteous. Ample parking!

I’ve ordered take out a few times and it’s always good! Great portions and the best refried beans and rice…I always order extra! A few days ago I dined in and it was great! I feel like I’ve been missing out on the great service and cocktails by ordering take out! I will dine in more often! You have to try the cucumber jalapeño margarita with tajin rim. So good I had a second one. 😃

We enjoyed ourselves for dinner here in December 2025. As others have noted, the portions are quite large. The food is well seasoned. The drinks were on par with craft cocktails. The let down of the evening was the tres leches, which was far too dry. Our server, Yanni (spelling?), was attentive and lovely.

I’ve been to multiple Azteca locations and they’re all great, but the one in Collegeville is my favorite! The service and the food are always outstanding, and the restaurant itself is beautiful!
