Playa Bowls Point Pleasant Beach

We are big fans of Playa Bowls and this was our first visit to this location and we were not disappointed! The line to order was long, however we received our order pretty fast - in about five minutes. The atmosphere is great with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was pleasant too. The bowls were perfect and we couldn’t be any happier with our order. I highly recommend visiting this location which is slightly off the Point Pleasant boardwalk. Well worth it! 😎👍🏼

DO NOT GO HERE. I get my usual smoothie every week but decided yesterday to question why when they ring it up (I usually always get the owner but today someone else) it automatically pops up more than the menu board. It’s not tax because that gets added after. The cost of the smoothie is $7.99 but it rings up $8.31 plus the tax. Girl told me it was the 4% card fee. I WAS PAYING CASH. I pay cash every week and every week he charges the card fee! I was very vocal about the fraud and funny…..the whole time I was telling the girl how he does this every week, he never came over….because he knows he’s a fraud! Reporting him to the BBB.

my bowl was half filled. The strawberries were not cut in full pieces. More granola then açaí. cashier never asked for my phone number and was very rushy

I adjusted my rating to 3* from 1* after receiving generic reply. Hope they will get better. We buy playa bowl in Rutherford all the time and when we were at beach we bought several bowls for family around 8:30 PM and all of the bowls were watery. It was hot so we had it but these were not great. Even some fruits were smelling.
