Playa Bowls

I ordered the Coco Berry but requested to substitute the blueberries for kiwi, which they were happy to accommodate. However, they made it with the blueberries anyway, then seemed a bit discombobulated when I pointed out the minor mistake. They just scooped off the blueberries and added kiwi instead of remaking the whole thing, which I can understand, not wanting to waste it. Had I been allergic to blueberries, I just would have been more clear up front, no biggie. I love Playa Bowl, but this location's lack of indoor seating was a bit of a bummer. I would have been more comfortable eating inside on a hot day with my frozen bowl, but there are no indoor tables at all. The upstairs is labeled for staff only, in other words, not seating. This place is for those who crave something that’s tasty and healthy. Then look no further. Got the pure vida and the bowls are customizable. The sweet cold foam brew is pure heaven. If you eat here once your definitely going back so sign up for there rewards.

First time trying Playa Bowls. I got the Electric Mermaid and my wife got the Pura Vida Bowl. Both were delicious and my wife substituted blueberries for cocoa nibs at no extra charge. They also have the freshest coconut shavings! We also tried one of their fresh juices, blue mermaid wave, which was very good. The service was fast and friendly and a good atmosphere inside. My only gripe is it's a bit pricey but understandable knowing that all the fruit is fresh and the base is made fresh when ordered. They have a coconut base that looked delicious but we'll have to try that next time! If you like bowls definitely check this place out!

I placed an online order at 945am and said it would be ready by 1015. I finally received my order at 1040am. I understand being busy but then online orders should be turned off. I heard one of the employees say to a customer they care about the people in the building 1st. I've been to this location before and always waited a little longer than normal. I dont typically write reviews but situations like this can certainly be handled better.
