Play Grounds Coffee and Play Cafe

We had the best time for our daughter’s birthday party! It’s a private event so it’s only you and your guests which is nice. They help you set up, and take care of all the cleanup. Our daughter and all her friends had a blast, we’ll be back for future birthday parties, and regular play!

Took my kids to Play Grounds Coffee and Play Cafe today and we had an awesome experience! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I have a 10-month-old and a 2-year-old, and the play area was perfect for both of them — clean, safe, and fun. I had the 24oz strawberry double cheesecake drink and it was SO good. Such a great spot for parents with little ones. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent space for a play date! It was such a fun and neutral location to meet friends and SUCH a reasonable price. The toys and activities are spaced out perfectly - no clutter or anxiety. The rules are minimal yet effective/practical. The drinks are yummy. The management is friendly and welcoming. The bathroom is accommodating for all littles (spare diapers/wipes incase of emergency and stickers for potty trainers!) All around a lovely local addition. I live in Illinois now and was able to meet up with friends and their babies, and I’m so happy to have such a nice place to go when I come home to visit.

The best!!! We were on an extremely long road trip and needed the kids to get some energy out!! We are so glad we did!! It made me so sad we don’t have something like this in my hometown it was PERFECT and more Montessori geared a lot of climbing which is amazing for kids! A baby area, nice toys and amazing coffee bar!!! Only $8 and my youngest was free. I’d definitely come back if I lived closer!!!

We had our daughter’s 6th birthday party at Playgrounds. The kids had a blast on the play area. There were plenty of things for them to play with, they were never bored. Derek and Mackenzie helped set up the party and clean up. We opted to have all the drinks included in the party, which was great! We had specialty coffees, specialty energy drinks, flavored lemonade. It was a treat for the grownups and kids. They were very friendly and accommodating to our guests as well. I would absolutely recommend having a birthday party for young children there. We were very happy with how the party turned out.
