Platteville Public Library

Very cool, modern library found at the end of the downtown area on Main St. Limited parking lot, street parking. Two story building has plenty of room to grow. Nice reading stations, study pods, charging stations. Elevator available for access to second floor. Baskets and carts to tote your items until check out on main floor. We are so lucky to have the Platteville Public library just blocks from our home! It's an incredible space for the community. Yes they have books, media, etc to borrow but they offer adult and kids programming too! And did I mention how awesome the staff is?! Just don't think the 5 star rating does them justice, they are clearly a 10 star library!!!! 🙌

The host was graceful, polite and knows how to provide customers with a warm and inviting experience. The smooth jazz Christmas music set the vibe. The FOOD...I ordered tips & hot link combo was delicious. My daughter ordered beef tips & chicken and shared a wing that was hot and off the chain. The quantity was enough for another meal. Hats off to the chef and the lovely hostess. This place has a new management team and has transformed from the last time I visited. I would recommend everyone to check Boaz out for a meal if you are looking for a delectable delicious and some authentic BBQ. I'm originally from Chicag so I know what good BBQ should taste like. THIS IS IT.😋

Great library! New book selection. Lovely kind librarians especially in the kids section. Lots of great free programs and activities. Story time is also a hit with our family.

Friendly and helpful staff all over. Disability friendly. Great for kids. Easy to read signs. And huge compared to past libraries.
