Oof. Where to begin. The service charge for carry out orders. I just can't get down with this, especially when you're charging 25 dollars for "large"( I think they mean standard, as that's what a 12" Neapolitan pizza is.) If you were charging a more typical price of around 15 dollars for cheese Neapolitan pizza, then maybe you could justify putting the financial burden of raised costs onto your patrons with a service fee. Lastly, I've been eating at different pizza spots in the DMV trying to find the best Neapolitan pizza, not only was those the only one I've encountered so far to charge a service fee, it was just a subpar pizza. The motz had flavor and it was cooked well, but the sauce was lacking flavor as was the dough, no type of gluten flavor to it. I won't be returning.
James was a really great server! He went above and beyond taking care of us. We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday here. The pizza was wonderful too. We will coming back because James is great.
It’s mad expensive over $60 for two 12in pizzas, and 12 is considered large here mind you. Pizza is very good but not worth for the price they even have a 15% service fee just for pickup kinda wild. Shout out to the server James though he deserve a raise
I left work early because a friend told me about trivia night on Tuesdays. Imagine my surprise when me and my boyfriend show up and we learn trivia night is no longer in place. The food is good but I was really looking forward trivia night and they apparently do not do it anymore.
Have you tried Pizzeria Paradiso yet? I was excited to go to this place for DC Veg Restaurant Week after so many of my friends had spoken really highly of it. They are super vegan friendly—with delicious Follow Your Heart cheese that can be used to turn most pizzas vegan and friendly to those who cannot tolerate dairy. I was surprised to find that not only do they offer whole wheat crust, it was so good I actually preferred it to the standard. Plus, they have vegan desserts! Tony, the general manager, was super good to us, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Their back room was a great space, working well for our group of about a dozen people with a lot of ventilation. Don’t miss this great spot for vegan pizza!
