Pizzeria Buonizzimo

We got delivery service which Buonizzimo currently does thorough Doordash. This is our first time trying this establishment. We got a salad, the lasagna, bolognese, and a tiramisu. The lasagna was .. well .. awesome. Very much a repeat order. The bolognese was good but that lasagna !! :). The salad was very good with goat cheese and pine nuts with a balsamic vinaigrette. The tiramisu was ok but it's not a repeat. Price wise this is not inexpensive but I know costs have gone up everywhere especially in the dining sector. Price wise what did irk me a little is the cost of the tiramisu and it's portion size .. the portion size was rather small for its price $11.00.

I was so happy and surprised to find this place! The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious ... you can truly taste the quality of the ingredients. They import their ingredients directly from Italy, and it really makes a difference. We enjoyed Italian sodas, the Diavola and Amanti della Pizza pizzas, and a carpaccio. Everything was outstanding. The place has a really nice cool Italian, modern vibe and our server was really nice and attentive. I will definitely be coming back!

Pizzeria Buonizzimo is quite simply a must have experience for all Italian food lovers. Chef/Owner Mauricio prides his establishment on bringing only the best ingredients to his guest and the attention to details really shined through in every dish we tried. The Alfredo sauce on the fettuccine was truly authentic with perfect al dente pasta. The spaghetti meatballs are easily the size of a good size fist, handmade with love and served as a good portion. Thank you for the realizing the need in San Antonio, will most certainly be back.

I heard about this new place and stopped in. We had wings, bread, chicken parm sammy and caprese salad. It is legit!
