Excellent service and tasty food! The amaranth porridge (gluten free) was such a comfort food for my soul and the breakfast sandwich burger my friend got was the bomb. Good portion for the price. The servers were super sweet. Will come back again!

This place is absolutely amazing. Great food, great service, incredible coffee, and the desserts are extraordinary. The donuts? Out of this world. The vibe, the décor, the lighting — everything is on point. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and even the music selection was perfect. 10/10. Congratulations to the whole team — you’re doing an outstanding job.

I love that they operate by walk ins only. And if you do have to wait, just know it’s worth it. The staff are cute as hell, the service is attentive but not overbearing, and the food is worth the price. If you’re looking for wood fired pizza and upscale casual dining look no further. Do yourself a favor and order the Caesar salad and if it’s available the strawberry Negroni in addition to your pizza ;) This spot is definitely an Oakland staple to visit monthly if not weekly! And the temescal neighborhood has so many places to hop to after your meal!

615pm on a Friday night, 20 minute wait for a table for two, we ended up at a communal high top but that was fine. Place has a great vibe, very busy and dim light. Ordered some weird Caesar salad and an arugula and prosciutto pizza both were excellent. Service was great and had no issues despite it being very busy. They run a pretty tight ship. Funny how many parents dine there with their very young children, like infants and toddlers. Whatever floats your boat.
