Pizza Shoppe

Great pizza with a cracker thin crust. Toppings, cheese, and crust were excellent. Restaurant was pretty quiet and relaxed with some classic rock playing in the background. Our server was super nice and friendly. Lots of room for larger families or birthday parties. Not crowded or noisy if you just want to chill out with a book and munch on a pizza. Salads looked really good, I'm gonna try one of those next time with my pizza.

The recipe has changed. The crust, the sauce and the pizza as a whole. Usually the crust tastes like a saltine cracker and it's pretty crisp. Not So much anymore. The sauce, you can usually taste the spiciness in the Marinara. This tasted like it was out of a can. Its a primarily dark atmosphere with games on televisions. They have a bar. Staff is helpful.

A Kansas City treasure with traditional crispy thin crust pizza like we enjoyed as kids back in the 70's. The house salad with Pink Stuff dressing is also a must have

The service was painfully slow. Took 30 minutes to get Chicken Fettuccine and it was served in its aluminum cooking tray (frozen perhaps). Regardless, I could have done better with a frozen Stouffer's meal at $3.50 instead of $10.99. Not coming back.

Okay. This place has that 90's pizza place vibe and I'm here for it. Not for everyone, but between that and the excellent service I've had, I have no complaints. As for the pizza itself, it's solid fare. Nothing super fancy, but have well baked crusts, and diverse topping choices. Quite honestly though, my favorite menu item is their salads and their Pink Stuff dressing. I have no idea why, as it's a simple iceberg salad, but God. I devour them. Overall, great place.
