Pizza King

The food was nothing to write home about. I will say they had good Iced tea. The crust was hard and dry, and the toppings (only cheese) weren't cooked completely. The cheese sticks were lack luster and were small, and their salad needs more toppings. I didn't take a picture but all it has is croutons,cheese,and tomatoes. They need to add maybe some bell pepper,onions,and some boiled eggs at least,but the atmosphere was wonderful, their service was wonderful so much so I didn't say anything. I enjoyed being in the moment by myself. I usually either have my toddler,or my mother who I care for 24/7, so it was definitely nice. The prices were average. I may go try a sub next time maybe that will be better.

Very dissatisfied with this location since new ownership. Placed a to go order for cheese bread and 2 pizzas. Arrived to pick up order and the gave breadsticks so I had to wait for them to make thd cheese bread. Got home and opened the pizzas and they were horrible. It looked like a 5 year old cut the large one, the toppings had a huge bare spot. The small one had nothing on a third of it. I most likely will not go back. I used to love this location when Mary owned it.

On 10/30/25 my DIL and I went for chef salads. Have never tried their salads. It consisted of a small bowl of iceberg lettuce, boiled egg at most 2 T. Of ham. Not what I call a chef salad.our comment was only good for pizza. And it was very cold in the restaurant. 11/1/25 this has been our family go to for pizza for years, the grand kids wanted to go. Our waiter took our order. When he delivered the pizza he placed the bill on the table at the same time. It was so cold today in the restaurant that our 2nd PC of pizza was cold and disgusting . Waiter never came back to our table for refills or to see if we needed a box. This was at 12:30pm on a sat. And we were the only table with customers. I said this must be under new ownership. I think it would be stretching it to guess it was even 65°

UPDATE: I'll preface this by saying I hate leaving negative reviews. We ordered dine-in on January 17th 2026 and it was less than a pleasant experience. I could overlook the dirty floor in the dining area but the 16" deluxe pizza was so undercooked in the middle that it wasn't edible. Maybe they were having a bad night but to sell a subpar product seems unreasonable. Best pizza in Angola! I'd highly recommend getting the pizza well done. Salads are just average. Most recent visit shown in the last picture.

I used to like Pizza King a lot but they don't really do a great job anymore. Overcooked subs, often made wrong, and cut with a used knife that had red sauce on it... my sub was ham and cheese. All around bad at situational awareness.
