Pizza Joe's

This is standard fare. For the most part when you go to Pizza Joe's you aren't going to want to climb to the top of a mountain and tell everyone about it. What makes this place a 4 star, though, is the quick efficient service especially when ordering first, knowing what you're going to get every time, the daily deals, the family run atmosphere, and a few highlight menu items. The pizza is fine, and you can get it pretty cheap especially on deal days. Wedgies are fun, foldover pizzas, not quite a calzone, but you can open them up and add extras at home. The real winner is the meatball sandwich, the bread is great and they cut out the top for the sauce and meatballs so it's rarely messy. They were very nice when taking my order. I was quoted $35 but when it came it was $39 so I will drop the tip off for the very, nice driver. The white pizza taste like cheesy bread and hardly had any toppings on it. I paid $5.00 for those toppings, but I couldn't find them at all. I was suppose to have tomatoes and black olives. The pepperoni and sausage pizza had good crust like the other pizza, but very little pepperoni on the pizza even though they put them under the cheese. You should be able to taste them still even though they're under the cheese. I called to ask about the toppings and they said sorry you feel this way. That was how the conversation ended before I came here to you my experience. Take your chances and don't bother complaining.

I think that they have the best subs around. The meatball is my favorite. They make quality pizza too.

I grew up eating Pizza Joe's in New Castle and there isn't one close to where I currently live but I try to get it when I'm near one. My wife works near this location and has brought home pizzas on two recent occasions. I came here to leave a review because the pizza has been top notch, perfectly baked, and with the right amount of toppings. The chicken was diced up and spread evenly instead of in strips. I like it spread out this way and realize it takes extra effort. I can't rate the atmosphere of this store since I've never been inside but I left a 5 because it otherwise might bring down the rating.

After 20 minutes I was headed back to some hungry people with six 24" pizzas and drinks. The employees were friendly and even helped carry everything to the car. EXCELLENT!
